3D Animation

Our team handled every aspect of the 3D scene production in-house, from rigging and modeling to texturing and animation.

The process was divided into three key phases

  • Asset Creation: This stage involved developing all necessary assets, including modeling, texturing, and building the environment for the scenes.
  • Animation: Once the assets were ready, we focused on bringing them to life. This phase included animating the characters, camera movement, lip-syncing, and choreographing scenes.
  • Compositing: In the final phase, we combined the rendered scenes, designed the soundscape, and completed the final compositing to deliver a polished and cohesive result.

The simplicity of the characters placed greater emphasis on their design. Their clothing, movement, and especially their facial features became crucial focal points. As the viewer's attention naturally gravitates toward the faces, we meticulously highlighted finer details such as facial hair, mouth shapes, and eye movements. These subtle elements were key in showcasing each character's unique personality.

To define how the characters would move, we drew inspiration from  content popular with our target audience, such as Minecraft gameplay and LEGO movies. These formats often feature stop-motion-like movement with minimal motion blur and quick, sharp actions. We adapted this style to fit our scenes, as demonstrated in this animation test of an early interpretation of one of the characters.
